1 MW / 1 MWh BESS Pilot
A 1 MW / 1 MWh Battery Energy Storage System pilot developed for DISCOM at some AP Dist. The pilot covers installation, grid integration, testing, performance evaluation, O&M and subsequent decommissioning as part of a six-month field demonstration programme.
Engineering Scope & Technical Execution
BESS System Integration
Integration of a containerised 1 MW / 1 MWh Battery Energy Storage System using a modular battery architecture designed for grid-connected operation and field performance evaluation.
Power Conversion & Electrical Systems
Integration of two 500 kW power conversion units together with associated transformation, protection, auxiliary power and electrical balance-of-system infrastructure.
Grid Interconnection
Coordination of the medium-voltage electrical interface, including the dedicated switching and protection infrastructure required to connect the BESS installation with the existing utility network.
Testing & Performance Evaluation
System inspection, electrical testing, functional checks, controlled energisation and performance evaluation under defined operating conditions, followed by operational monitoring and project close-out activities.
